Proposed Exeter Intersection Works: Final Drawings
The final drawings for the proposed Exeter Intersection works have now been made available, with construction currently expected to commence some time in October 2026.
The Exeter Village Association (EVA) has raised concerns about the proposed design during recent quarterly General Meetings. For an extended period of time, we have also attempted to negotiate modifications to the plans over numerous meetings and communications with Council and Transport for NSW. Unfortunately these discussions have not resulted in any major changes.

Four of the drawings are also on public display at the EVA noticeboard, located on the Middle Road side of the Exeter General Store.
We encourage residents and other interested members of the community to review the plans so they can understand what is being proposed before work begins.
EVA’s response
With the commencement of work approaching, EVA has made a final request to the new Mayor, with members of Council copied into the correspondence.
Our request asks Council to give further consideration to modifications to the current design—or to reconsider the project in its present form—before construction proceeds.
EVA believes it is important that Council is aware of the community’s concerns while there is still an opportunity for the plans to be reviewed.
